<p class = “body”, style = “margin:auto; padding: 20px”> I spent the summer of 2016 working for this group at Sandia’s main location on Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuqueque, New Mexico for Dr. Carlos Perez. One project was the application of anodization for a variety of metal functionalizations. The second was a critical analysis of how electroplating quality was affected by parameters involved in the production process. </p>
My work that summer resulted in an improved workflow for the metrology of anodized metals.
